Answers

1. I am looking for a clipart of XYZ. Do you have a copy or know where I can find one?

What you see on the website is all there is; if you don't see it, I don't have a copy of it.

I'm no longer involved with clipart so I don't know where you might find something that you're looking for. The only suggestion I can make is that you visit the other sites as listed in my "links" section; maybe one of them can help you out.

2. Can you draw a clipart of XYZ for me?

I am not a clipart/graphics expert. I didn't draw any of the clipart on my site; I found it while surfing the web. I do not have any graphics drawing abilities. The only suggestion I can make is that you visit the other sites as listed in my "links" section; maybe one of them can help you out.

3. Is the clipart free? I'd like to use clipart XYZ in my church's bulletin, in a book I'm writing, etc. What permission do I need?

All the clipart on this site is considered "copyright-free", to the best of my knowledge. Feel free to use it for whatever purpose you have in mind; however, the onus of any possible copyright issues fall to you.

Note: if you find some clipart on this site that isn't copyright-free, please contact me and I will make the appropriate corrections (ie. remove it).

4. How do I put the clipart into my document?

The graphics files contained on this clipart site are all stored in GIF format. This, however, is not always the most beneficial format as some word processors (MS-Word, WordPerfect, ...) only recognize certain formats. If you require the images to be converted to another format (PCX, TIF, JPG, etc.), one of the graphical utilities listed in the "utilities" section will do the job. I leave it to you to learn how to use the graphics tools and to know which graphic format is accepted by your word processor/tool.

5. Who are you? How did your clipart website start?

I'm just a guy who surfs the web, like you. Back in 1994, I wanted to use some Christian clipart but it seemed very hard to find any on the internet. When I found some, I thought that other people might be looking for the same clipart. So, I create this website to share "copyright-free" clipart with people. However, since 1997, I am no longer actively involved with clipart; I only keep the site running for people who might find it useful.

So, although I still run this site, I'm not a graphics expert and I don't know anything about clipart.

In 2000, after discovering that my host was running banners that conflict with Christian values, I transferred ownership and hosting of my site to Newfield Solutions, and Bro. Tom now has full responsibility for the site. All inquiries are now directed to him. .
